Spontaneity is Key

Well....our plan was to make it to Barcelona Spain and it didnt work out. We were on a ferry for 11 hours then spent the day on the train with no air conditioning and arrived in Milan at night. We couldnt get a train to Spain that night so we decided to sleep in the train station and leave first thing. That was a nightmare! Train station closed down and we found ourselved at McDonalds very smelly and discussing sponge bathing in the handicapped bathroom. We had until 1am and then we didnt know what we were going to do... Then came the rain and HAIL!!! That was the last straw and I spent money I don't have so we could put a roof over our heads. We definitely hugged the wall when we got there and took worlds longest showers. There was actually a point where Keely told me how bad I smelled and my nose was plugged but I bet she smelled peachy too. The next day we made it to Nice in the French Riviera and were told it would be over 24 hours before we could get to Barcelona which would give us only a few hours there. Executive decision then became to stay in Nice and enjoy the south of France and the Mediterranean Sea. We leave tomorrow morning for Paris and are going to spend the evening drinking wine in front of the Eiffel Tower since we regretted not doing it before. Sunday morning we are headed back to London and looking forward to two days there before heading back to the states.
